Recently, the data center project of the National Supercomputing Guangzhou Center of Sun Yat-sen University
has successfully passed the completion acceptance. Keydak (Jindun) provided data center infrastructure solutions
and products. Its completion will strongly support and guarantee the deep integration of high-performance
computing and big data in the supercomputing center.
As a leading domestic supercomputer center and a major scientific and technological innovation platform
supporting the national innovation-driven strategy and serving local industrial development, the supercomputing
center has higher requirements and standards for the advancement, intelligence, modularity, and security of IT
infrastructure construction and operation and maintenance. After systematic and comprehensive planning,
Keydak (Jindun) adopted the CD2000 micro-module solution to tailor a green intelligent modular data center
for the supercomputing center.
A total of 28 sets of Keydak (Jindun) CD2000 micro-modules (including 714 sets of ISR series intelligent server
cabinets) were applied in this project, which were configured in the 4 data centers of the supercomputing center.
The modular data center solution adopted in the project integrates subsystems such as cabinet systems, power
supply and distribution systems, refrigeration systems, air flow containment systems, integrated cabling systems,
and operation and maintenance systems. Lighting units are configured on both sides of the top of the
micro-module, which are beautifully arranged to increase the illuminance of the data center; the skylight
automatic reset system automatically opens when receiving the fire protection linkage signal to meet the
integrated fire protection needs; the cabinet is equipped with temperature-sensitive status indicator lights to
intuitively display the temperature status in the cabinet; the air flow containment system completely isolates the
hot and cold air to avoid local hotspots and reduce energy consumption; the data center operation and
maintenance system can provide functions such as data collection, analysis, monitoring, alarm, and operation
and maintenance to realize the visualized and refined management of the data center; the modular design
effectively improves the use space of the data center and helps the supercomputing center achieve the flexible
expansion of the data center in the future.
From technical design to rapid deployment, from energy saving and consumption reduction to convenient
operation and maintenance, from space optimization to intelligent control, Keydak (Jindun) comprehensively
meets the data information management needs of the supercomputing center. It not only realizes the
compatibility and cooperation among the subsystems of the data center, improves the operation and maintenance
efficiency, saves the floor space, and reduces the construction investment, but also significantly improves the
information security and system management level. It effectively meets the needs of the supercomputing center
for high efficiency and reliability, rapid flexibility, intelligent management, and easy expansion of the data center in
the cloud era, builds a new generation of efficient, secure, and intelligent data center for the supercomputing
center, and has been highly recognized by users.
